Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds

  • 4 oz (113g) smoked salmon, cut into small pieces

  • 3 oz (85g) low-fat cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tsp fresh dill, finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish

Directions


  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. Using a piping bag or a small spoon, add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.

  3. Top each cream cheese dollop with a piece of smoked salmon.

  4. Garnish with small sprigs of fresh dill or chives on top of each bite for a festive touch.

  5. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
