Ingredients
1 large cucumber, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
4 oz (113g) smoked salmon, cut into small pieces
3 oz (85g) low-fat cream cheese, softened
1 tsp fresh dill, finely chopped
1/2 tsp lemon zest
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh dill sprigs, for garnish
Preparation
Directions
In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon zest, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Using a piping bag or a small spoon, add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture onto each cucumber slice.
Top each cream cheese dollop with a piece of smoked salmon.
Garnish with small sprigs of fresh dill or chives on top of each bite for a festive touch.
Arrange on a platter and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
